Default Has anyone had issues with TRD 18s being weak?

I bought a new 2005 xb in July and opted for the 18" TRD five spokes. I drive about 50-60 miles per day on them down I-44. About three weaks ago I hit a small pot hole on the interstate and the wheel broke. But the tire was fine. The dealership says it wasn't a weak wheel at fault, and I had to fork out 370.00 for a new wheel. Two weeks later the car was hit in a parking lot and the new wheel broke on impact, but once again, the tire is fine. Please if anyone is noticing weakness in the rims than contact me. You can see the wheels here: https://www.scionlife.com/gallery/sh...sort=4&cat=500

I had read about the wheels on the cars breaking like you say. I asked the dealer about the wheels when I purchased my car and I was told they hadn't heard anything about it. That's really fairly scary.
