GT spec makes one.. it's a pretty useless part IMO, because the rear does not have struts. it has shocks that do not carry any sideways load, so bracing between them is pretty pointless.

Tyler, make sure it bolts to the towers and doesn't use the stud from the shock.

there are no bolts there . the only braces i have seen bolt on to the shock. there is no room to go around the tower.

There is room to go around the tower but you'd have to get creative. I have the somewhat dumb shock strut bar and would like to get a correct one made.

there's no reason to brace across there tho! well, unless "for looks" is your reason.

yeah there is , to reduce chassis flex. I need the c pillar and the bpillar/harness bars , and then the progress rear , and the front two bars , strutted out.

if you brace across the two shock bolts, you're bracing nothing..

a b/c pillar brace is where it's at i'm planning this pretty soon

check out www.bbist.com for the pillar brace. as far as the rear brace goes i am not sure how much it will help but i think the one i have looks cool "it was cheap thats why i got it" and i don't think it will hurt any thing. it might be purely psychological . but after i installed it i thought the car felt tighter .

Drill holes and then use nuts and bolts. or stamp in some studs. Let me know I'm interested.

i had a neuspeed front tie bar on one of my vw. it had these nuts that you would pre drill a hole then set them in snug . they worked great i think something like that would be nice for a more finished look . at work we have a metal fabricator that we subcontract out to .i have been talking with him about this and he was really receptive to the idea . i will keep every body posted on what i do.
