Spacer Shims
Hey Guys,
Van at onetongarage is out of the hub spacer shims for the Scion xA and he also told me that he wont be making some for awhile.
I was wondering if any of you knew of some good spacers that I can use for the rear wheels of my xA? I was really hoping to be able to get the one's from onetongarage so I'm really bummed out... I'm running 16 x 7 with 38mm offset wheels, so you can imagine that my rear wheels look sunk in. Also, I saw a bunch of spacer kits on ebay, however they're 15mm and not 10mm. Does anyone know if the 15mm kits would make the wheels bulge out too much?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
- Charles

Yes, others are available. For less. How does that sound?
I just got a set of 10mm spacers from Mike of autoaliance.com
He is a ScionLifer and will sell you a set for less than $50 shipped as I recall.
Iodized black so they will never rust.
If you have trouble finding the correct name, I may be off by a few charicters,
PM bB2ner Jeff will give the correct link.

15mm will be more than ok.
just make sure you go with a "HUB" spacer and not a "wheel" spacer.
hub spacers go behind the hub assembly and wheel spacers go between the drum and back of the wheel.
a hub spacers is more reliable and safer + auto shops will not give you crap about working on your car.
there are a few other good compainies that make hub spacers just like onetongarage
Randode http://randode.com/store/suspension.html
EZ-Baked http://www.ez-bakedcustomz.com/
evolved concepts is another one
you can always check the PPC ( Private Party Classifieds )

Thanks for the help guys. Swartzautoman, do you know if the randode spacers are hub spacers? It doesn't specify on the website link you gave me? Once again thanks for all the help! I really appreciate it.
there is only one adjustment you will have to make.
there is a tab with a bolt that holds the break line in place on the axle, loosen that then after you get everything put back together tighten it back bown.
im shure you can find a good DIY on here somewere
