Anyone purchase yet? I only see pics from their "sample" tC.

 

Phil just released them like a day or two ago. And it's actually his tC, no "sample" I've already blacked mine out or I'd pick up a set.

Pop off the plastic mirror cover, unscrew I think two screws, maybe three, unplug the wires. Plug in the new assembly, replace screws, replace plastic mirror cover. Doesn't sound too hard? Where would you hear something like that about a 2 day old product?

 

i black mine ot 2 days ago an it was a lot easier than getting the tbl and tail lights out its a piece of cake

 

Yeah the tail lights sucked the first time. TBL wasn't too bad after I figured out I needed to take the garnish off too.

 

Hmmmm, im interested in these. I know blue would be highly illegal, what about white? Im in NJ. Any ideas?

Usually legal (here in So. Cal.)... but check with your state laws... sorry, I've never been to NJ.

 

Yeah thats what im trying to do right now. Its quite complicated to read all of these damn laws.

I gave up haha. All i could find is red/blue/white are colors only for med/cops which is nothing new.

 

My signals (Garage's originally) are starting to spasm really fast, so I think I may go ahead and order the smoked ones with white led's to stay legal!

 

I think the FJ cruiser has white LED's in their mirrors stock as running lights. It would take some custom wiring, but I think white running lights in the tC mirror and then amber as turn would be sick.

 

Wouldn't be too hard, just proper use of a relay and placement of white LEDs in the assembly. That would be pretty sweet.

can't decide if i wanna stick with amber or white? anyone think white might look a little awkward? because my front signals are still amber

 

i would like to see the light output of the smoked lences with the blue leds..

 

I've already ordered a set of smoked with amber LEDs. I'll let y'all know how they turn out.
