I've found a place on ebay called americancarbonfiber1 selling fiberglass and carbon fiber hatch garnishes.

Anyone picked up one of these yet? Price is good, communication seems to be pretty good. I asked a few questions, it's not an overlay.. the person said they could make them stronger so they wouldn't break like OEM... Should be interesting.

That's the same company that made a mold for me. I can vouch for them, excellent quality.

$85, I believe. This is the best method for a badgeless garnish. I am ordering a bulk of these and eyelids, so all I have to do is paint them.

FLEA, how are they handling the mounting situation? Do they use the same material (CF or FG) for the tabs, or metal by chance? I'm just hoping it doesn't get torn off as easily, though the CF I'm sure will be stronger than plastic.

Oh, and, just in case you guys didn't notice.. It looks like they can make the CF ones in whatever weave you need to match your other stuff! Pretty, pretty cool.

Yes, when I get them in stock. Keep in mind all you have to do is primer, block off, apply basecoat, and then clear these.

A bodyshop will charge $175 to paint these, if you provide the paint. $275 if you just provide the piece.
