Well if the economy wasnt so bad this wouldne be happening. Toyota needs to stop making such bland cars to keep there numbers up when the economy gets better.

Not necessary. Toyota got factories in the U.S., which provide jobs to many people. On the other hand, GM laid off a lot of people in the states, and moving its factories to China.
