Default photo needed from under the xB

Can someone direct me to a photo that just shows a stock xB from underneath the car itself lookin up.

I really need to see the original front stock brace for reference.

It has to be the OEM one that would get replaced by an aftermarket front H brace.

thanks in advance!

I don't think the new H brace 'replaces' anything. You just drop the four bolts that hold the engine cradle up and place the h-brace in place and replace the bolts.

I'm sure someone else has more info though.

As far as your photo...When the Scion website had the 1st gen xB on there, it had a movable model/illustration of the car that showed all views...including the undercarriage. I wish it was still there...it was cool. I'll see if I can dig up a photo.

There is something there. I just had the car aligned and it is sorta thin looking. I really am lost now.
I may be wrong. Thanks

Cool pic.

So, something does not come off? The H brace is just put in that front spot?

I wonder what the heck I am thinking?

The reason I ask is because I want to replace the bolts with new ones when I put on the brace but I can't figure out the part number.

I also have the mid frame brace and that replaces the stock mid frame brace. I bought those bolts from the dealer for 4 bucks. Just can't figure out the bolts I need to buy for the H brace. GTSPEC does not give you bolts.

thanks again everyone

Here is a quote from a thread I just found.

"unbolt the two dinky black bars from the left and right sides of the car. they really only work front to back stability. they are at the sides of the car, right after the wheels."

It is a different part number than the mid chasis brace bolts.
What was your source?

really thanks a lot!

So, its the same bolt for the mid chasis brace and the forward braces?

Same size?

My head is gonna explode, if true.

I hear that. Super cold and snowy right now.

I am just referring to what you wrote about us both being right.

Not sure what you meant.
