anyone know what kind of lug nuts to use with some xxr 501's??

I've tried a few different sets and nothing

I'm trying to get these on asap because I need new tires

 

I use 12x1.5 McGard spline drive lugnuts.

You could pick up any set of lugnuts from an auto store, just make sure they're made for the "tuner" spline-drive style...since regular chunky lugs won't fit. (at least I'm guessing from looking at a couple pics of the xxr 501's....I have the xxr 962's).

 

I bought some tuner lug nuts from Bell Tire. They were $40 for a set and they were locking lug nuts.

 

yeah im also running tunner lug nuts and another set of locks i bought from america tires. Im running the xxr 502

 

I cheaped out with my first set of lug nuts and the key that it came with just ripped apart.

I like the McGards because the keys just feel a lot more heavy duty and I have my set registered for easy replacement. I've taken my tires off several times since getting my lugnuts though, and I stopped worrying about broken keys.

 

i got cheap ones at Auto Zone. they work fine but its time to step it up and get something fancy. anyone got any good aftermarket lug links? im running a search now of woat looks good on Silver 501's on a Black Cherry Pearl.

i would LOVE to have lugs of the same color.
