Default Found a great deal for 18" TRD wheels...

Im not trying to advertise for this seller or anything, but I found on ebay a set of four brand new TRD 18" wheels (not tires, never been mounted) brand new in box for $599!

Thats only $150 a wheel!, or $170 if you include shipping!

I almost crapped my pants when I saw this! My dealer is asking $399 A PIECE!

So, seeing if any of you know why these are soo cheap?

They probably "fell of a truck" if you know what i mean. but who knows

Heres the link! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Ahh, Thats were I thought I put it! ooops.

Well at first I thought they were some knock offs, but then I realized the only "knockoffs" are the RH evo 5's (which is the same company I know) - so the pictures look legit- the same seller also has another set of TRD's with the tire for like $1400, But I can buy theese for $170 each, and buy some Pielli p zero nero's (215/35R1 for $133 each.- total cost about $1150 for something that the dealer charges $1700 for!

The thing is, I cant find were to buy pirelli p zero's (not zero nero's)

O Well- I guess I will stick with the nero's ( they have a 400 treadwear!)

Default Probably OER wheels?

I don't know - sounds like the same price I got for my Audi TT (when I had one, just totalled it over xmas and got the Scion) to replace some wheels that had major curb rash on them.

They looked like the real deal, although the alloy finish started to peel off later down the life of the car - this could have been due to some more curb nicks since it happened at the edges only.

BTW - The tC, while not as polised as my old TT, is really a great deal! I cut my payments in HALF! Only wish the radio cover was sturdier, my old TT had something similar, but it was all steel or some heave metal that felt great to the touch. Anything aftermarket for this?

Thanks for the heads up. I bought the other set he had for sale after staring at his feedback for awhile. He had nearly 4000 feedback with 98.9 positive. I figured it was worth a shot. I post some pics when I get them in.

Thanks
Jason

Yeah I got mine a few days ago- I just used "buy it now" because it was such a good deal!

They are a 100% TRD as promised! The CNC machined cap on the rims is so nice! mine were sealed in the box, perfectly wrapped. came with the chrome valve stems and the lug nuts!

My dealer TRIED to sell them to me for $400 a PIECE!

Well I just saved a ton!

I ended up getting them for 551 + shipping. I was tempted to use the buy it now option but no one had put a bid on them until 45 minutes before the auction ended. What tires did you end up buying to put on them?

I am probably going to buy the Kuhmo ECSTA ASX on tirerack.

yeah so you saved 45 bucks! I figured the same thing would have happend to me if i bid- so thats why i just bought right away. Im wanting to put Pirelli p zero nero m+s on - they are all season with a 400 tread wear and only $133! the original tires on TRD's are pirelli p zero nero. they have only a 200 tread wear and cost twice as much!
