Default A Cheap and Quick Interior Upgrade!

Drop by your local PepBoys (or the like) and look over their stock of slip-on steering wheel covers. The right one can make your OE wheel both feel and look a lot nicer !

Anyone have a photo of a "wheelskins" steering wheel cover on an xB steering wheel?

Hmmm, interested in the Wheelskin too. Deff looks great online, but what about the actual product? Deff cheaper then an aftermarket wheel, and still get to keep the horn and air bag, lol!

Ill work on the photo. It took a little over an hour to sew the Wheelskin on. Not too difficult.

If you click on the style cover that you want on their webpage it will bring you to another page. Underneath the color swatches it has a link that you can click to have them send you a color swatch.

Well, it could be that I'm just completely out of step with all other xB owner's, but in case I'm not, and since this thread seems to have swung heavily Wheelskins, I thought I'd provide an example of what can be accomplished for just $15 and maybe five minutes installation. This is my 1990 Eclipse .

Clearly, I used the same approach in my xB, though a different cover! Feels and looks great for just $13 .

it's not what you spend, but what you get. it's an inexpensive mod that really snazzes up the interior.

No problems and I'm not fighting it, I just want to make sure people on lesser budget's are addressed as well. Personally, I've no interest in the Wheelskins, but that doesn't mean I'm knocking them -- it's an alternative and having alternatives is fine with me !

Thanks, I think so -- the style suits the car in my opinion. It also grips tight and feels excellent when driving. When I selected one for the xB, I actually picked out four, took them out to the car (in the parking lot), and selected the one that gave the best result. The others were then returned and I'm again pleased with the result -- even complements my TRD leather shift **** !

What color did you choose for your Tealie? I was trying to kinda color match, but the colors look very different against the exterior and then the inside black. It's not going to be perfect, but I'd like something different from "black" and "grey".
