What kind of HU did he get? If he got the premium HU then there is some cool stuff you can do with screen. There's also a post somewhere with a DIY on how to print your own faceplates for the gauges.

Tell your bro congrats on the new xB. I hope to be getting my xB2 something this summer too, just search the forums you'll find some neat things. I've been lurking around and I already know more about the xB2 than the sales man at the dealership.

Also, forgot to mention that the HU is not full compatible with the iPhone 3G. You'll need an adapter to make it fully work. That's one of the main complaints that people have about scions.

It's not Scion's fault that they don't charge anymore. Apple made the dumb decision to change the connector pins on their new ipod/i-touch/iphone models.

Its a simple fix with an adapter that is sold online.

True, didn't mean to insinuate that it was scion's fault. I'll never understand why Apple changed the pins in the new ipods. Seems like apple just likes messing with its customers. Still, it would be nice if scion would give customers a way to update firmware on its HU so that things like this could be prevented.
