Hey guys, I need some help deciding if I want to exchange my Sportmax XXR006 17x7 to the same rims but 17x8 (I wanted a wider stance)

The seller told me it would only cost me $140 to do so but I'm not sure if the 17x8 will fit.

He told me the 17x8 Sportmax had a +25 offset.

Will these fit without rubbing??? I wanted to make sure they fit before I order them and then have to exchange them again. According to: http://www.rims-n-tires.com

the biggest wheels that fits on my 06 xb can only put on 17x7.5 with 32 to 42 mm offset. *shrugs* I so frustrated from googling and SL searching for the past hour and haven't found what i needed.

btw,

I have TRD Lowering Springs, TRD Rear Sway Bar, TRD Strut Tower Brace, and TRD axle-back exhaust. I don't know if any of these mods will affect the wheel fitmit.

 

Should fit fine. Wheels start to rub at about 8" wide et15... and that's only with more than an inch of lowering.
