What did you hit? When you swerved to miss the accident, did you hit a curb or something? How'd they get bent? Just currious.

Yeah was coming down a offramp here in Seattle (new home), and there was a lady coming in on the right wasnt looking. So i went left fast not really looking, and there was like a little median. Maybe half the height of a normal curb, angeled up some. Went up it and came down and then i heard a bad knocking. So i was like #@!#@!, and puilled over to check the damage, no popped tires, no broken axels. So i put my donut on the back left and the sound went away, so my rim is bent to #!@#@. Then driving around yesterday a guy honked at me and told me my front left was bent or loose...bent. So i need to get 2 rims fixed, or go back to my stock ones .

Whether it can be repaired or not depends upon the material of the wheel and how far it is bent. Some wheels are so brittle that they will crack as soon as they are formed back to shape. Some wheels can be bent back, but will lose strength if you do so. It's difficult to tell how much strength that you will lose.

If it were me and the bend was more than a little tweak, I'd replace them. Yes, they're expensive, but you were able to afford them in the first place, right? Bent wheels is a risk you take when you go to super-low-profile tires.

Wheel Tech in Santa Clara are supposed to be the best, but its a small business with supposedly really bad customer service (mean and slow). Wheels America in Union City are fast and cheap, but quality is questionable (fast but sloppy). There is also another really cheap place somewhere in Walnut Creek (can't remember the name) that is pretty good.

Your probably looking at $100-$200 depending on the repair. If your wheels aren't rare or more than $200 a piece, it's not worth it to fix a bent rim, just get anew one. Might be worth it to call for a price though....Good Luck

Default bent wheel

You may want to take the bent wheel by Joel @ Carnutz in Bellevue for a look. He should be able to tell you what it'd run to repair so you can see if it's worth it. He also has a blue xB with air suspension and deep dish 20's.

Once its bent, it loses all integrity. I wouldnt even bother getting them repaired because they will never be the same. Id just get 2 new ones.

This is very true. Depends on how mangled they are. You may want to stop by there anyways just to see the Scion on air. They have alot of other neat vehicles there as well.
