Well after what seemed like eternity (actually only 2 ½ months) I got my Work Seeker cX wheels
:D :D :D
I would like to thank
Wes from Cabe Performance Parts for the hook up on the rims and Van, Denny, and Mike Ma for all the info and opinions they gave me on sizing and fit.
Front 18x8 25mm wrapped with Nitto Neo Gen 205/40/18zr
Rear 18x8.5 20mm wrapped with Nitto Neo Gen 215/40/18zr
I haven’t lowered my coilovers yet so not sure if I am going to need negative camber or not so far the wheels look flushed and no clearance issues.
I also haven’t taken it out for a test spin because believe it or not, it rains in California and my ride doesn’t even have the wiper motor installed (a true California car)
so I can’t comment on the ride and/or take wide shots so I hope these pics will do for now.
Overall it was what I expected from Work but the lip and size kinda got me when I first looked at them in the box. as Wes quickly told me “it’s what I ordered”. The tires look slightly stretched and fill the wheel well (one thing I did like when running 19’s) and I have a extra little bit of rubber now when dodging potholes and other crap on the freeway.
I will follow up with more info and pics when the sun comes out…

Yeah Wes from Cabe Performance hooked me up...
I have been told that SE may have some reps to get WORK wheels brought in but not sure if all the details have been worked out. Maybe those individuals might post some info as they get it

Dang...you must have really liked those axis spiders for that influence cuz I really liked the DTM's you originally wanted.
Only lip I like is a step with a simple 5-spoke so I can't really say I like the designful rims...hope that's not "negative".

A stretched tire like that simply means that you are using the wrong sized tire for the rim. Good job on that one. Hope your tires last...
But just remember. I am but a stupid noob and I don't know jack about "VIP" styles, or whatever you want to call it.
Oh, also I don't know anything about tire wear. Because I have only posted a few times @ Scion Life. I must be 17 years old.
I guess all those years on the www.EvolutionM.net forum means I know anything about tire performance. I see a lot of guys at the track with stretched tires
But hey, all in the name of "the look"

The tire size still meets within Nitto's tire specs on wheel size, but the main reason for the stretch is to get a little more clearance and to give me the JDM VIP style I am going with on this car.
So with that said I don't think my tire wear is going to be less than what Nitto states, and you might want to check your specs and style a person is going with before posting.
Just a friendly tip and welcome to Scion Life :D

nope tire wear WONT be affected..i dont know where u learned that. Nothing at all wrong w/ a stretched tire. stretchedtire gives more clearance like dave says and also makes the lip on the rim look bigger than it actually is...though the lip on his rim is big enufff =P
