Default JDM TRD Rear Suspension Brace for VItz/Platz

http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_brace.html

Does anyone on here have any experience with this brace? I acutually have an echo (Platz) and even with the employee discount at toyota this part is stil like $350.00 plus tax, frieght and waiting 14 weeks. I saw that a user "Squirrel" had one but he/she hasnt been on since jan 2006 so pm'ing them would be worthless.

I would like to know if it is worth it be cause i actually auto-x the echo and there are no rear sway bars available for the echo and i dont want to mess with drilling to make an xb/xa one fit though it would be cheaper.

thanks in advance.

There is actually a great rear sway bar for the echo from Whiteline Its the one I run on my box.
http://www.whiteline.com.au/
you can order it through Don @ PDM racing Vancouver, Can, its not on their site but he orders a few each year for the Echo crowd.

Whiteline part #BTR76

Its on page 96 of this PDF

and Squirrel frequents clubxB.com

I was, as well, one of the lucky ones of the website to get one the TRD frame braces for $150.00. I love the brace and you can tell its well made and will definitely help out flex in the rear.

For $350.00 its pretty steep but i wouldn't change mine for the world.

There is the Progress rear sway bar also. I have the Progress bar as the Whiteline bar was difficult to find at the time. Install time was less than 15 minutes.
