air is always blowing
air is always coming out of my air vents even if i have the dial set at 0 and not just a little. If i have the dial set at cool its colder and warm its hotter. is this how its suppose to be? anyway i can just turn it off? i have never seen a car do this
Don't always leave it on reciruclate because you will start to get a bad smell from the a/c if you do.
I had this same problem and I almost always leave it off now and just leave it on defrost to blow the air upward.

^ LOL I wish that was all it was. No but seriously I did have that problem this past summer. I left the a/c on while it was recirculating and there was a "mildew" smell coming from the vents. It was pretty gross.

Another good reason to leave it on fresh air is to prevent your windows from fogging up. One thing I do to prevent mildew from the A/C is before arriving at my destination, I turn the A/C off and let it blow all of that cold air out. It seems to work wonders for preventing the smell. I usually try to give it at least one minute to blow the cold air out.
