thats as low as air lift. what sucks is that it utilizes air cylinders. they provide a horrible ride

Air cylinders or Cans dont ride good if you arent running accumlators. That stance with bags looks good, but I would rather just have a static drop if I cant lay out with bags. I have had a bagged truck before and I personally dont think its worth it on a daily driven vehicle because of the maintenance involved.

Default eai kit

no it is not photo shop. i just ordered the kit three days ago. and as far as cylinders riding bad that is only true on the rear because of the weight. by the way i have a set of tein ss coilovers for sale. they are only three months old. asking 850.00 if interested call 251-391-0347.

Yea its real.
Im not sure if that kit uses cylinders or bag struts.I think if you buy the kit it uses cylinders. But they do have a spring replacement for McPherson style struts.
Cylinders ride like poop no matter what.I have never ridden in a vehicle with cylinders that I liked the ride.Plus you dont get as much travel with most cylinders.
The rear could go lower if he only knew what was limiting him.
Still has a nice stance though.

Me personally I would go with the kit that http://www.teampneumatik.com has built. His setup looks sick!

my car sits way lower than that in the rear and just as low if not lower in the front. Im running the Easystreet kit. The rear ends rides wonderfully. Im still messing with the front end to dial it in. The front has 9 way adjustability on it.

How much did you pay for the complete kit. Also where is you tank mounted?

I got the kit through the group buy section on this site. it was 1500 for everything. I also bought a switch box and a water seperator because the switches that come with it are a joke there is no water seperator included which is MANDATORY. Not running a water seperator is asking for problems unless you live in the desert or something. The switchbox was another 30 and the water trap was 30. I spent probably another 100 bucks on top of that for more airline, various wiring pieces, bolts, fittings for the water trap and plugs for the dump valves that I drilled small holes in to slow the system down when lowering the car. I didnt like it dropping really fast.

I mounted my 5 gallon air tank vertically in the trunk on the passengers side on some L brackets that I made from angle iron and welded together. Basically I took out the right side of the trunk and made a false floor from MDF to mount everything on. The spare still fits in the car fine. The top of the tank is about as high as the rear seat. It looks like my car is going scuba diving when you pop the trunk open. I also mounted the compressor inside because I didnt want it exposed to the elements. When I buy another compressor I will most likely fabricate an aluminium box to mount them in underneath the car and remote mount the intake filters for them inside the car to keep them from sucking up dirt/water/ etc.

I would go take some pictures but its dark outside, my carmera sucks and we just got over a foot of snow. This morning when I woke up my compressor wouldnt start because the pressure switch on the tank was frozen. had to warm the car up for 15 minutes until I had air.

looks good man. A water trap is definatly a MUST. You also need to have a drain **** on the tank to to keep water out of it. Water freezes and makes you really mad in the winter time. Compressors can take the elements just fine as long as you run the remote inlet. Careful building a box for it. Make sure you have plenty ventilation so it doesnt get too hot and burn up.
Looks good though. I wish I had a spare xB to bag because bags on a daily driver become hell. I could only take about a year and a half of it.

you mean sounds good? those arent pictures of my car.

I do have a drain **** in the bottom of the tank. Easystreets air management kit comes with everything you need minus a water trap and a nice switchbox but as I said those things are cheap.

Why do you say they become hell everyday? I havent had any problems with the rear at all. The front strut locked up on me the first day I put them on but that was the strut being defective, not the bag. The seals on the strut were leaking....
