whats wrong with ScionLife? That other site is filled with regurgitated info swaying enthusiasts decision to buy crap. Atleast we keep it real here and if there are any questions you'll get real advice, good or bad.
You should wait til april 1st to post something like this.
I see how the guy at the gm dealer I was at getting parts for my metro felt when he tried to sell me a new car and I told him I already had one, an 09 xb.

There are a lot of other Scion sites out there, but when it comes right down to it, ScionLife.com is the most versatile, and connected with the widest range of the community.
Heck, even I am a member of another site or two dedicated to my interests - including my xB Classic. :D
(In fact my little xB was featured ride of the month on another site. Nothing wrong with being a member of more than one.)

exactly, i thought this was a community and not a bunch of elitists. I find newscionxb quite helpful at times, It has the same core group of regulars so you know where their advice is coming from.

thats most likely because most of the information being asked has been asked numerous times and people get tired of explaining it over and over. Most people never search because if they searched for their issue, chances are it has already been answered by someone else. This is a busier site, of course people are going to get annoyed the amount of times people ask about which springs to go decide on or if 245/35/19's will fit etc etc.....
I only say this because I'm a new owner myself of the xb2, but I've been on this board since 05 so I've been reading up on alot of useful info owners go through.

I agree. The reason people ask those questions is BECAUSE THEY'RE NEW. Plus, the search thread doesn't always yield the info you're looking for if you don't know the correct search terms to use; it's also not terribly advanced. A simple, polite redirection wins out against pushing away a new member and it's extremely easy to do.
