waiting to buy wheels and repaint sideskirts.

Wheels will probably be gold 501s 15x8 +15, willl run slightly stretched tires.

Sides will be painted to match 501's....maybe

Kenstyle kit is a little further out in the plans.

 

501s 15x8 +15 is a good idea and will go nice with your -3 camber.
if you want to do any rear hub spacing and of go lower you will need to roll your fenders

even sportmax is better than rockin steelies and camber... i don't think painting the side skirts to match the wheels is a good idea either

lol. Ya, I think im going back to white. When i get my kenstyle kit, it will be white for sure, but i may screw with the the stock kit for now.

I'm looking at some axis wheels right now also. but the sportmax look is too cheap and too proven to work to pass up .

Ugh! why do people worry about what rims someone is rolling on. Theres better things to do,

To Brownfaux it will look good when its done but definitely don't paint the skirts to match the rims.

i went thru 3 different sets of rims from two sets of 15" rims and the trd 18"s and i got rid of 'em

the 18"s were way too heavy and the 15"s were the same weight as steelies

if i want some thing different i'll just change out my hubcaps

yeah, i have 17x7 926s on the box and 15x8 002s on the hachi they look alright, i rather dish out the cash and get nicer wheels

I dont want this to be a debate over sportmax or no sportmax.

I like them. This different for the sake of being different crap gets old. if I liked something different and wanted to pay for it, I would.

 

i have sportmaxx wheels on my tc for two years now.. IMO great quality.. never bent one.. no chips.. I get compiments even at shows for them ?

 

If I drove my car once a month or lived somewhere nice all year long I would do it. I just don't like the idea of dishing out all that money for something I can only enjoy maybe 4 months out of the year. I personnaly like the 002's and the 501's. I think they are good looking rims.

 

well i only paid $30 (no thats not a typo) for the 962s WITH tires. and the 002s came with the hachi, so i didn't really dish out any cash at all for them.

 

have you ever seen the promax wheels FA-097's

you should get a set of those instead

 

i have only seen one set of sportmax wheels in person. ONE. and it wasnt even in my state.
