Default I have found the source to my rattle in my xb2! But...

So for the past few weeks I had been noticing a rather odd rattle in the rear hatch of my xb2. At fist I thought it was the actual hatch door making the noise, but yesterday I found out that it's actually my rear right seat.

When I "punch" the back side of the rear seat with my fist it makes a very annoying rattle. Does anyone have this problem? Is it covered by warranty? The noise is non-existent when the roads are smooth, but as soon as I hit a bump/pot-hole you can hear it .

I have the same rattle, somedays its really annoying and others days its not. I don't know if it covered under the warranty.

Yeah its almost depressing to be honest with you . I think i'm going to get an upholstery shop to take a look at it (I really don't want to deal with the stealership).

Ya, I bought the car with the leather/saude upholstery done. I don't know if thats why its really loud. But I have a couple of other issues with the car now, that I need to take it to the dealership and see if they will cover it under the warranty, I have a leaking rear driverside window, and the instrument panel is lighting up kinda weird.

I had annoying rattle as well found it in rear seat drivers side,
found out there was a TSB for the latch(which was cause of rattle)
and dealer replaced.
