Default Europlates

Has anyone done up europlates, I'm contemplating on it, but I just wanted to see how it looks and to find out if it is legal if it has my real license plate # on it.

In the states you must have the tag issued by your state. Even if it has all your info it still has to be the plate issued by your home state.

Ok i get it, you need state issued plates to make it legal. But people do many things that make their ride more personal & in return illegal. So stupid of me to ask if it's illegal because I could really care less if it is, I'm doing it. Now let me rephrase my question, Has anybody used europlates on their xb2, and pictures would def. help. Thnx :-)

he's not hating at all, there was actually nothing in his response that could have even resembled hate, its jus retarted to have a euro plate on a JDM made car, its like puttin jap plates on a vdub or audi. it doesn't go. looks nice yes but on a car that is infact euro. and yes he has a 1st gen xb in THE USA which means he need US plates wouldn't u say? now if u wanted jap plates now that's understandable, and what I don't understand is u ask if it is in anyway "legal" but yet when people tell u it isn't u cop on attitude like a lil school girl that had her e-feelings hurt. euro+xb=NO, jap plate+xb=yes

Yea what he said.

Maybe i am just trying to help you from being made fun of by everyone for having a euro plate and a Japanese car, or you can get your flame suit on and wait for the real haters to come out. The you can really cry like a high school girl.

Allright, I know where this is going, & I dont want to go this route with you brother. I love this forum to much to get kicked out for things I said to some little boy with a little box that let someone else say his peace for him. Plus thanks for the "help", but no thanks to that, I like my advice from people that actually have xb2's.
And to rosedaleny806, I know all tc owners wish they have an xb2. But I see where your coming from with the mix of jdm & euro not gellin, but once again, to each his own, & thats what you did. But if your gonna call someone a little school girl, you better know who your talking to, thats how people get handled.

Ok thats my peace with these 2, and no more responses will be made from me towards them, cause once again, I love these forums way too much..

LULZ!

wait? didn't the tc come out first with the 2azfe? and then the xb2 came out with it de-tuned aswell? ha. think bout it "brother" reason y u were called lil skool girl was bc of how u reacted when people told u the 2 don't mix and how the car is japanese u flip and cop an attitude like no one other then alil skool girl. but to each his own.

Okay. Let me step in here to rephrase what the above said in a way that isn't going to get everyone all butt hurt.

Sure, some modifications are illegal (if you live in Cali, pretty much everything is.) tints, exhausts, etc. Fact is though, a cop can pull you over and give you a ticket because they could read your tag and run it through their computer.

If they see a car with license plates that are fake and not from this country, you're getting pulled over no matter what. Good luck trying to explain how 'cool' it is, because it isn't and the cop doesn't care.

If you really wanna do it, save em for shows... but yes, a Euro plate on a Japanese car seems counter-productive.

Also, since you're new here, let me lay it out for ya. If you post something asking for an opinion, you're going to get both positive and negative replies. If you can't deal with people telling you not to do something, don't post it, especially if you've already made up your mind anyway.

To recap:
fake license plates = illegal beyond belief
Euro plates on a Japanese car = silly

At the end of the day, it's your car and you're gonna do what you're gonna do. Good luck, I guess.

The 2azfe in the xB is not de-tuned, Mr Keno. My car on the dyna pack made the same power as a tC!!! and a little bit more on the TQ side!!

Was done on a Dynapack Dyno at a local show. Mod's are Just TRD Intake and Tsudo exhaust and Grounding Kit.

Made 141.6 WHP and 139 on TQ after looking at the paper i thought i was more on the TQ but guess not. Gonna do another dyno once the Header and Pulley go on.

Also the gearing in the xB auto i was told is different than the tC cause of the sport shift.

Eh im happy with the numbers, If i wanted a fast car i would have went with a SRT-4, Cobalt SS or an STi but im dame happy with my BOX and just love it!!!
