Default Hey what you guys think about these rims????

So like im deciding to get some rims and ive decide between polished Works VS-XX ( like D-Units or the guy that owns the xb with shaved trunk) or Black Works VS-XX or Gold. Im really feelin the black ones. Its like a semi gloss type of wheel not the super black crome looking kinds thats y. Here are some pics.

Give me some feedback please. I have a BSP and i need to know which would look better. Thanks.

I think either the gold or the satin black would look ill. I prefer the satin black, but I think it would look even sicker if you got the lips powder coated super glossy black. Kind of a 2 tone effect, but black.

Honestly, I'd get the silver ones. The black and gold ones are cool, but you'll probably grow tired of them quicker. IMO, I'd go silver, then gold, and then black last, but you can't go wrong with either.

Any other plans? Lip kit? Air ride?

I'd go for black, cos you don't have to clean them often.

I'd go gold... I have very similar rims, you do have to clean them because the powdercoat gets foggy when its dirty.

Get Gold... then Black... then Silver.

Definitely not the gold, black is okay, but the silver/gunmetal would look great.

Honestly, it all depends what else is on the ride. IF you have an air ride or a kit, you can pretty much get away with anything. IF you had an air ride or a kit, it would probably bad ___ if you did it in some "Skittle" color like the Volkwagon peeps do...

That being said, I take back my original answer and think "any" of them would be fine. When you get bored, do something crazy, and custom paint them and show us later!

They look ok. I just don't like all the extra phony rivets on them.

5 Axis Kit plus NF 210s and you can't go wrong IMO. Originally, I had my front lip overlaid in CF but recently ripped it out because it was too low on DF210s and got damaged. I ended up sanding the front lip myself and spray painted it with Rustoleum Flat black and it came out really nice! I wouldn't recommend using a spray can to paint the whole kit, but I think the flat black lip came out really nice on the BSP and takes all the abuse my wife puts its through...

They're authentic Works... They don't do phony rivets.

I paid like $1k shipped from TRDSparks.com. Their website has been weird lately, but try calling them cuz the price should be the same. My suggestion would be to prep the kit yourself and have a bodyshop paint it. I only paid $250 for them to paint my kit, but when they installed it, they totally installed it crooked.

I ended up removing the kit myself, painfully removed all the double sided tape from the car and the kit, re-applied new double sided tape, and installed the kit myself. IT IS A LOT EASIER TO INSTALL THE KIT NEW, then it is to RE-DO someone else's shotty work. Follow 808Custom's DIY, and it is A LOT easier than you think!!! Seriously only takes 2 hours max to install the kit yourself with a buddy if you follow his instructions...

I like the silver, but with that style wheel, I'd stay away from a "tuner" inspired ride.

thanks guys for all ur advice. But yea, D-Unit, i still think u have the best lookin xb on this forum. You have a very similar build to how i want mine. The only difference is that i dont have a spoiler and i have a black mesh grill. Im just stumped on what color VS-XX to get. Its gonna take somettime considering the rims are worth like 2 grand haha.

Here's a pic of the front lip painted with Rostoleum Flat black... It looks color matched in the picture, but looks flat black in person.
