Default best time to do sway bar end links?

Next weekend I will be doing my suspension, koni's and sportlines all around. But I also have the sway bar end links that I want to put in too.

Here's what i'm wondering, when is it best to do those end links? when I have the front struts out when it's all torn up? OR doing them on their own, either before or after the strut/spring replacement?

You can really do it whenever, but if you're going to have the wheels off and the strut pulled anyway, why not do it then? It'll only add a few minutes to your work.

In fact, I believe someone mentioned that with the end links off (after you remove them, before you put the new ones on), you gain a little bit more room /play for the struts. I wish I had known that when I put my struts on.

I replaced the end links some time after I did the struts, but I wish I would have done them both at the same time. It might have made for a longer work day since I'm new at this kind of auto work, but I think it would have been worth it.

Hey thanks guys, I was thinking that it would be easier but at the same time maybe not. Yes because of what you guys have said, and No because I would think I would have to deal with jacking up the control arm.
If I did them before or after I would probably do it with the car on the ground or on ramps...so no tension on the bar.

but may have to consider the do it all at once idea.

i just jacked up my box from the side, and used a pry bar to seperate the sway from the controll arm - took all of 5 min per side to do the end links, very easy and i didn't remove the wheels. just need a good jack, jackstands, and a creeper. it might be easier to do while you have the wheels off when you change out springs if you dont have a creeper to slide under the box...

wonderful. I'll just do it all at once and be good to go, hopefully all goes smoothly. It will be this weekend so I don't have to work.
I'm doing it solo so everyone wish me luck!

dude guys,
I have not done it yet... my landlord called me the 14th to bring a realtor into the house the 15th to price the house to list it. Well, I have 30 days from the 15th so this job has been put on the backburner unfortunately

I'm so ____ed about it, it's like thanks for the crappy notice you wanted to sell the house after 2 years...

But I think once I move I'll do it...but on the other hand I thought about waiting now until spring since winter will blow more 2'' lower... hmmm.......
