Default Add more bling to your wheels

A guy came into my shop today and showed us this new lighting kit for wheels. He's from Birmingham Al. and came up with this.Really not for my taste, rather clever though if you want to add more bling for your ride.He did an install today on an Expedition on our rack, took about 2 hours total.Heres a link to his website.

That sort of thing has been out. They sell 3 prewired LEDs at AutoZone and there is a picture of the LEDs in the wheel well of a car. For like $50 you could have what those people are probably charging at least $100. I've thought about doing it, but I don't feel like running the wires to my dash.

kinda lame...you cant use them if your wheels tuck at all...they would be cool for show if they were set up a different way...could just mount a couple leds inside the wheel well pointing down...then you dont have that thing stickin out 4 inches past your wheels

the fact that it sticks out its so that i shines to the rims..instead of shinning from inside the rim..
so you get a glow effect on the rim...instead of glow effect from behind the rim..IMO..i think its straight.

I actually like it. I mean, how many people on here have underbody kits? This is no different, or more "rice", than those...

These aren't crappy LEDs like TireFlys, and those ZinikWheels are just wheels with LEDs in the center caps. Watch the video on their site, they aren't bright and look just like TireFlys.

Lots of people put LEDs or CCFLs in their wheel well, but that just shines your fender liner and brake system. These actually illuminate your wheels.

The MotionLites operate off of a switchbox on your dash, and control an airtank that releases pressure to extend these rods 3.5" past your fender. You can turn them off and retract the rods while driving.

I'm thinking of getting them, at least noone else has them
