Default Need help with Strut Bar installation.

Hey guys, I'm in need of some small info. I asked this before in another thread, but I think I tried to get to many answers at once and never got any response.
My problem is, after I installed coils, the bolts are not long enough anymore and I can't install the strut bar. I bught some nuts in home depo, they have a strannge bottom, though, they were called tensi nut.
Anyway, can I change the stock nuts to these ? And do I need the black stock spacer between the strut and the body ?
Here's few pics.

The bottom of those new botls I bought..

Well, you definitely don't need the spacer with the strut bar. As far as the nut...
I dunno. Provided they're high strength, they would probably work...
I would just use the existing ones, although it looks like they might be a bit rounded off.

Are the new ones high quality (grade 8+?)
If they are, give them a shot, but keep an eye on it.

Or maybe use the stock nuts - upside down - with a washer?

Ditch the black spacer, and you should be fine with the new nuts. Actually some coilovers come with that type of nut, so you're good to go.
