So,
I went and blew all my money on new exhaust and new stereo thinking I'll just wait until I need new tires to go ahead and buy new wheels...

But I can't take it... I WANT NEW WHEELS!

They're just so darn expensive. Anyone know how low I can get the price down to? I was looking for 18's.. but I'm guessin that'll be out of my price range seeing to be I'll need to get tires too.

Would new 15's look poor?

don't skimp on the rims... they really do make or break the look... if you've found a set you really like... just save up for it... otherwise you'll just end up spending more money on a set you just kinda like.

 

The important part is 'wheels you like'. Who cares what size they are? I've seen 13's on a box and it looked dope as hell.

how about siteing some examples of things you like for a start...

 

15's FTW! But if you have your heart set on 18" so be it...buy what you want even if it takes a bit to save for it otherwise you'll be wanting it later nothing like spending twice!

Whichever size you want, just check out Craigslist everyday. Or the Classifieds on here. people change wheels like I change wives, so you can usually find good deals if you look often. And 18"s are cool for awhile, till you need a kidney belt, best think i did was go back down to 15"s.

yeah get 18"s that weigh 50 pounds per rim not including the tire weight and watch your mpg go down down down and even more down

are these wheels made of iron and lead?

 

I have had 17's 16's and 15's on my box and love the 15's by far. There are plenty of great looking wheels that won't cost a ton and if your tires are good you can just swap them onto the new wheels.
