Default I messed something up with suspension.

Took the front coils out to lube and tighten and put back in along with strut bar. I installed strut bar while the car was on jact stands and tightened. Then 2 days later I get to drive it and wtf, I can't go more than 50 cuz the car feels like it's all over the place, I drove 20min one way and 20min back. Took the strut bar off and lifted, tightened, then did it again, and again and all the time car feels loose at high speeds, less than before and slight turn on the wheel makes the tires screech, no big manuvering, just slight pull on the wheel like u would wanna avoid a pothole, just higher speeds. but they screech like I would b taking hard turns. The wheels look slightly on an angle, top of the wheels seems out more than botom, like if u look at the fron of the car they would look like this \ / notthat hardcore but this way, maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me but I think they weren't this way before. should wheels b 90 deg to the ground ?

I need help, any input is good, I'm afraid I messed something up bigtime.

I know, I'm scheduled for monday. But I didn't have that problem before, I drove on the coils for 2 weeks, the steering was loose but now it's different story.
I didn't raise or lower, kept the same just took em oout, lubed, and put back in and now it's driving differently. Never had schreeching from tires before.

yup thats your camber.
if you completely took off the front coils that means you had to take off the camber bolt. depending on how you turn it affects the camber..
an alignment will get it fixed...
more importantly it will take care of any toe you might have...

the top bolt.
it has a weird shaped washer on it..
depending on what postion that washer is determines the level of camber.
heres a link to what one looks like....

both of the bolts on my spindle assembly look the same, they dont have a weird washer like that in the link.

and Toyo, it sounds like you didnt put something back on right...did you take the springs completely off the strut or did you just take the strut assembly out and lube it up and put it right back in.

if you took the springs off of the strut, you might not have put them back in right (maybe upside down) or something, i would say to go back and double check your work because you dont want to be driving down the road and something fail.

No, never took the springs out. Just took the whole assembly out, unscrew 2 bolts on bottom and 3 bolts on top, lubed the the top, made sure everything is tight and put back in. I was puttind jack under the wheel sway bar or whatever it's called, right behind the rotor to raise it up so the 3 bolts will go through the holes so I can put top 3 nuts on.

K, fixed the problem.
Had to loosen both the bolts and pull on the bottom and push on the top of rotor so the camber would come back to level. Car is back to normal.
Thx for help guys.

Yes! That looks awesome, great stance.

40lbs for an 18" wheel and tire isn't that bad at all.

Yes, if I had a car for racing then I'd care, but with 100hp it doesn't really matter to me, car's slow anyway
