ok, guys so today i removed my TRD intake system and installed my stock intake system. im afraid of sucking up water since were getting into the rainy season here in so cal.
right now im just gauging some interest on the intake. if i get the price im asking ill let it go, if not, ill just put it back on during spring. im in no rush to sell.
remember guys, this is genuine TRD which means its not cheap. the intake system will 07+ tcs ONLY.

as you can see, one of the pipes has scratches on it from installation. its a _____ to install this thing. once installed, the scratches cannot be seen because they are covered by the fender of the car. the scratches do not affect performance at all. filter is still clean and in great shape. looking to get $210 shipped

for the bypass valve to work, the filter has to be fully submerged. it can still suck up water from puddles and stuff like that on the road. i really dont want to risk it and just sell it, and eventually get an arc induction box instead. thanks athelete and thanks brad for the bump.

pudgy- i know there is an 05-06 adapter for 07+, but im not sure if there is a 07+ adapter for 05-06. you might want to check ebay to see if someone there makes one.
kendrick- thanks for the bump.

always thought about the getting intake cause its TRD. just curious but do you know if it voids the warranty cause it says "for race or off road use only"
regardless, bump for a sweet intake

if it sucks up water and ruins your engine, they will not cover it under warranty. although there is a bypass valve, it can still suck up water. the offroad race only means that its not CARB legal, meaning it will not pass a smog check. thanks for the bump!
hmm after looking at pics of the randode adaptor, it looks like all it is is a plate with four holes. two of them for 05-06 and the other two for 07+. so im thinkin you can use the holes for the 07+ to attach the plate to the intake and just use the other two for my MAF. lol just thinking out loud.
I notice youre from victorville, would you be willing to meet half way? like in rancho? or devor? for 170 picked up?

if you can do $185 i can meet you at ontario mills or something on saturday. i have a class at CSUSB, but when i get off i can meet you there if youre still interested. you might want to ask a few people on here if that adapter can work with the 05-06 maf just to be 100% sure. let me know if youre still interested.
