Default FS: tC OEM Coil Packs x 4

I have for sale four OEM coil packs from my 06 tc. 3/4 of the coilpacks were working fine when pulled out of the car, I replaced all 4 with brand new ones in my car but I forgot to label which one was not working when I pulled them out.

Each coil pack retails over $100 at the dealership.

PM me any offers!

Default misfire

is it common for the coils to go bad? I have an '05 tC and just got a cylinder 1 misfire. Replaced the spark plugs drove 20 miles to work and was fine, drove another 20 miles home and check engine light came back on. Could anything other than the sparkplugs or coil cause a misfire?

^^ the cars tune could cause your car to misfire, the amount of octane in gas, things like that

can the coils be tested to see if they are even bad before spending the $121 for a new one?

i heard there is a process to check it but its really hard, i dont know if its true or not, but no one i knew how to do it. Mine went out I think when it was 50k miles, and ive had my car for almost 4 years too. Im pretty sure mine was because of the spark plugs and crappy tune. The only reason I knew it was a coil pack that went out was we turned on my car, unplugged one and if thje car would almost die, plug it back in, and test another one, then kept doing it, and eventually one of them didnt do anything, like make the car bog or try to stall, and we knew it was the bad one because all the others when we disconnectged it it would make the car bog.
