Searched but nothing...can 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 fit on a tC?
Whats up guys, I searched to see how big we could go on the tC, but nothing of a 9.5". So I was wondering if anyone has attempted it yet, and what series of 19" rubber are you running...and lastly if it could fit, would a drop on TRD springs be sufficient with no major rubbing?

Yes it can be done. I have that setup as well as a couple others. Bluebox has it with goldlines (like me - 2" drop) running 215/35/19s and 235/35/19s in the rear, and another person has the same Hiros that you mention (I no other info on this car, only that it looks staggared). I went with 225/35/19s front and 245/35/19s rear for a little extra tire though. I tried the 215 and 235 setup first but decided on a different tire brand and size combo. It also makes the tire less stretched. I ran into problems trying to stretch the falkens I originally bought. You may have to roll your rear fenders a little depending on how low you go however. Here is a link of Bluebox's car:

Yeah, you would be suprised on the size of wheels the tC can take... really a lot of room under those fenders, LOL. Just make sure you get the correct offset for the wheels and you should be in business. My car looks similar to Bluebox's since I have the same color and the same wheels, but I heard he might be switching rims sometime (maybe getting sponsored for new wheels?). And like I said the tire design you choose will affect the sizing. Here is a pic of my rear tire 235/35 mounted on the rim:

As you can see it was a little more stretched than Bluebox's tires in the same size. Only difference was different brand. Also one of my front wasnt holding air well, So I went with a different brand and little wider this time just to be safe. I also plan on changing my goldlines out for some Tein S-techs and they should fit fine since the most worrisome area is the rear fenders and the drop is the same between both springs for the rear - the Teins just drop the front about 1/2" lower. Good luck with whatever you do.
