I have question that anyone can chime in on if they know....

On some cat back/ axle back exhausts have 2 small holes, one on each side of the tip of the exhaust. Anyone know if it's just for style, or possibly if someone wanted to attach a silencer.
Just curious as my cat back Injen SES does not have those and the tip is much thicker then the HKS listed here for sale..

yea its for exhausts that come with a silencer, and the tip of an ses isnt bigger than then the hks

 

well I didn't mean the overall diameter was larger... and thanks for the answer... mounting points for a silencer is what I thought.
