So my wife decided she'd had enough of the "vroom vroom" noise in her xB so I pulled off the intake and put a factory airbox back on it. This gives one of you the opportunity to pick up the full lenght, factory, AEM cold air intake pretty cheap. It's the full polished on and I've got the filter and the bypass valve too.

It's in pretty good shape considering it was on the car for over a year. It had one gouge in the tubing that a dealer tech filled in with epoxy so it wouldn't get worse, and a worn spot in the foam that covers the bypass valve; but, the valve is fine.

The CAI should fit all the 04-06 xAs & xBs. Like to get around $100 shipped, but I'd also consider a partial trade for a set of 10-15mm hub spacers for an xB.

 

What shape is the filter in?

 

Really good I'd say. It would need to be cleaned, but it's mostly just dusty from sitting in storage. The intake has actually been off for a while, I just now got around to listing it though when I found the box in the garage.

 

do you know if this would fit in the xb2?

Where is the spot where the hole is? Is it visible when installed in the car?

 

Not visible when it's in the car. It was a spot on the underside where it rubbed on something. You can actually see the epoxy in the last picture in my first post. It's the gray spot just to the right of the center of the picture.
