Default Powder coating Scion's optional 15" wheels

Anyone have any pictures of these powder coated? I was thinking of doing mine, but just curious how it'd look. If you don't know which ones i'm talking about, it's pictured below.

Give it a shot. Why not? I've always wanted to strip the paint and polish them.

Well i'm debating between doing that (powdercoat black with a green lip) or just picking up some sportmax 501s. I'm leaning towards the sportmax option, i like how those wheels look.

Eh, the OEM ones would probably look better in a single color...

If you want 501s, Don is selling a set, that used to belong to me...

link please?

Also, just curious if someone can help me out here before I go and start a whole new thread. Do the 501s in 15x7 fit with the stock tires? I'm hoping to not have to pick up new tires, so that would be great if they did. I heard they did, but I'd just like to confirm it will...plus if there will be any fittment issues with tien stechs?

thanks guys

Yes, they fit with stock tires. It's what I used originally. The 15x8 can take them too, but with a bit of a stretch...

I ran em with DF210s, no problem.
Lemme find that link.

Thanks for the link. Just curious...how does that offset sit? I know nothing when it comes to offsets/wheels. do you have any pics of your car when it had them on?

I also run a 10mm hub spacer in back... and actually, now that I look at it, I still had 3 degree camber shims in back too (in the pics with stock tires)

yay, burstaneurysm, my hero! But for real, thanks for all the help. I think I'm going to get these and run stock tires, heck, why not? It's not that expensive...and my current set up is getting old. You think the rear spacer is necessary for a flush fit?

No, but they're gonna look a ton better. They're pretty cheap these days, under $100 bucks and they're a breeze to install.

Also keeping in mind that even with the 10mm, they aren't exactly flush. I'd almost put a 15 or 20mm spacer back there.

Here's a better angle to show you the offset.
