Default Where to get rims?!?!

I have been shopping for awhile......but I don't know who is reputable or not! Will you guys help me out by posting sites of where to get rims?

I have a PW xB, and I was seriously considering 18" Enkei CDR9s.......but I am open to suggestions.....please show pics of your PW with your wheels or ones you like and where to find them.

I am 90% certain I want 18" rims....

Thank you for your help!

TRUE.....that is why I am asking.....they have decent prices on tires, but their wheels are EXPENSIVE.

I don't think TireRack has outrageous prices on wheels. You just can't compare an Exel wheel to a BBS wheel. If you want SSR or BBS wheels, they actually have really good prices for high quality wheels. Even the 15" Kosei K1 TS are around $150/wheel, which is still cheaper than a set of 5zigens.

If you're looking for Enkeis, get them from www.discounttiredirect.com. On a PW xB, I'd probably go with something in silver or white with a polished lip...

Shopping cart is all messed up - It shows the wheels all set to 0...I just sent someone (JChang - so maybe its the poster I am quoting JC) some emails concerning that to get it fixed. Didn't take CC numbers so I guess they are OK in terms of a million people saying the company 'owes' them the wheels at this price.

In any event, that is kind of scary that a company doesn't have its stuff together. Or is misrepresenting its wares. The buttons should NOT indicate a checkout and order if that's not its purpose.

Good luck to them though.

Thanks to an unfortunate incident on Fri, I found myself in market for wheels. I have no idea what was run over. Was doing about 45 mph when I hit it. Went back afterwards and saw nothing in the road.

Called WHEELSNEXT today to order some RPM501's for $599 because they offered free springs and shipping with purchase. Turns out, the springs are only free when you purchase a package at REGULAR price (didn't bother asking what regular price was.) In addition, the tires that come with the package, 205-40-17, are not the factory recommendation and I should get 215's instead...for an extra $100. The mounting an balancing of the wheels would be an additional $100. So within 2 minutes I go from $599 to $799. Shipping was still free.
Of note-rep also said the offset of 45 means I need a spacer for proper fit to make sure the calipers don't rub. Anyone heard of this? He was willing to throw the spacers in for free so I don't think it was a sales pitch.
Next call to WHEELMAX and it turns out my 1st choice is out of stock. They have my 2nd choice, but not in black. Only gunmetal.

Checked on the 3rd choice and they did have that in stock. Told me shipping was free and mounting and balancing would be $60 for all 4 wheels. It would take 7-8 days, at most, for me to receive them from FLA. I said go ahead and ship the gunmetal.
FYI-WHEELMAX offers insurance for $50. The insurance covers the wheels against ANY type of damage. If there is damage to the rim at anytime while you own it, you pay to ship it back to them and they replace the rim and they ship it back. Rep told me I could drop it and scratch, bend, break it and they would still replace it. You are allowed to use the insurance 3x. Seemed like a good deal, especially considering my current situation, so I went ahead with it.
Lessons learned: whatever you really want will take longer to get then expected and cost more then expected.

hey man...JChang is not me ...i don't work for Auto RnD, just promoting them...this is the way you order (at least the way i did, and worked perfect), you email sales@autornd.com to get a quote on the wheels you want....they'll respond to your email within 48 Hrs. (they responded to mine faster than that)...

...once you get your quote and satisfied with it, go call them up to order and you send your money through Paypal...they'll also send you emails to confirm your order...if you have AIM, send the user "autornd" (Rishie) an IM..

...they're a very reputable company and an official distributor of Work Wheels...and people can vouch for them

I got an email to what I pointed out to them...trying to do a good deed and maybe get some love back from them. Didn't happen...not saying they ARENT reputable, but its perception right? If you can't even get a shopping cart to show the correct value, then just put up a static page that say call for pricing instead of allowing someone to do a 'check out' that even creates an invoice emailed at the price of ZERO.

You know, I originally wanted 18" Enkei CDR9s, but I have seen them on about 6 other cars in just my county alone (my entire county consists of 225,000 people)! Therefore, thanks to CBSIMONSEZ, I am seriously considering the 17" ADR SOKUDO 8s from www.victoriatire.com
