Thinking of getting some springs, I saw TRD's new for $140 shipped, is that a good deal? If not, any inexpensive suggestions?

 

yeah, $140 sounds pretty cheap...im looking for some tanabe's for $190. you should prob go with the trd.

 

That's what I was thinking, but I also heard the ride is pretty rough with the TRD's. The same place has Hotchkis Springs for $180 plus shipping. It's called TRDSparks.com. Hey you're in San Diego too.

 

yup, many people are from san diego here in these forums. just check out the regional forums...i live in spring valley. yeah, trdsparks.com has some good deals, and so does fastscions.com I don't have any springs right now, so I cant make judgements, but many people on these forums do. Just give it a day or so for some replies. also, maybe try posting in the xA forums? noticed that is what you drive.

 

TRD doesn't give you much drop and i will look like you almost didn't lower you car at all. TEIN H tech is not bad in my opinion and this is what I have on my car.

 

I'm looking to get TRD springs this summer too

 

I use TRD springs and shocks on my first gen. The ride is excellent and the handling with them is phenomenal.

I have used TRD springs before I took this job at Toyota and have loved them every minute I have had them. I have ridden in xB's with Teins and was not impressed. I have ridden in xB's with Hotchkis and was mildly impressed. :D

I got mine for $170 2 years ago. Maybe you could find a used set or a discount somewhere. Keep looking! DF210 drop is well worth it.
