Default GTspec lower frame brace: it's HOT!

hey all,

i rec'd last week, my GTspec lower frame brace. no pictures yet, as my roomie hasn't let me borrow her camera yet lol.

the part is beautiful, lightweight, and very strong. installation time about 5mins, (not including jacking the car up)

initial opinion... much stiffer front end in hard cornering.. i hit em faster, with less tire squeal, and less understeer.

i'll let you know my official opinion, plus pictures, after autoX on 2/27

btw, got the part from http://www.partshippers.com .. Dave kept me up to date on my order on a consistant basis.

thanks Dave!

I have the GTSpec rear strut brace. I can't say if it did anything cause I lowered my car w/ DF210's & put a front & rear brace on at the same time. It was too much at once, the car just handles different all together now. The look of the brace is extremely nice though. Aircraft aluminum with Lava ends, soon to be powder coated BOP .

I got mine from SL member - Lip (Jeff) at partshippers.com. He has all of the braces on his xB & I got to see them all in person. He is extremly polite & helpful ! He knows alot about these braces I would def. look him up with any questions.

I plan on getting the rest of the collection off of him in the summer sometime.

Have fun nailing the corners with that new brace, good mod IMO !

I bet the rear strut brace helps a lot if you gut the rear seats like Joel did. When I have my rear seats down, the rear seems to flex more...

I reviewed the apperance of the rear bar & I know it has to be approved first, but it is done ! Thanks Jeff :D
