Default I want a Cushy Ride!

You may remember me. I was the chick so super thirsty to slam my ride.
Yup I did it and then I moved to NorCal from Long Beach. No more wide flat well maintained roads....No sir I'm literally shaking the sh*t out of my car.

Where there once was silence I have the roar of exhaust and the rattle of something I've yet to discover. How I long for the bouncy response of any other car. Don't get me wrong it's cute and sexy. But it's not practical. Things are falling off it's really horrible.

There I said it. Get me back to the bounce!

What are your recommendations?

Stock springs all around, monroe shocks & struts. 15" wheels with stock size tires.

Or...Keep your low and switch to the stock wheels and tires for a bit. The difference a bit of side wall makes is amazing. And change your rear shocks for Monroe 5870's. Night and day...

I'm all over the Monroe's stock and struts. I'm hitting the shop manana. I got the 17inch wheels/rims and no budget for the back and forth. I'll see if the shop still has my 15's though. Curly's a good dude, and a hoarder - they might be in the back. I'll hit y'all back with the results...These SF hills are murder.

I don't think you need to replace the front struts for comfort. It's the rear shocks that are stiff. I'd hope the shop still has your 15's. Most people keep them for winter, or sell them...especially if the tires still had good tread.

if you can find the cash, maybe get some 13" steelies off of an old honda, and get some tires that will meet the same overall height of the stock 15" steelies and rubber

The monroes will help immensely. Ironically, the best riding setup I have is my winter setup, stock steelies, TRD springs and Monroe 5987 shocks.

My summer setup of DF210s, Monroe Echos, Monroe 5870s and 17" wheels isn't bad though.

What did you end up doing Tunergrrl?

Rolling 14" steelies myself with 70 series tires...So cushy on DF210's...More so on air!
