Default How low with 19's?

So the weather is starting to warmer up here, and you know what that means, time to get the box ready for Spring and do alittle extreme makeover. I have 19" wheels running 215/35 tires, now my question, How low can I go without having to many issues with rubbing. I have heard a few people running Tanabe df210's which have a 2.2 drop in the front and 2 in the rear. Anyone running these have any words of wisdom for me.

You will rub no matter what, if you ran 30 series tires the rubbing wouldnt be as bad.

exactly... on a 30 series you would be ok....
i am running 215/35/19's and no rubbing...
and i drive fast.. well as fast as an xb can go..lol
i do swerve a lot but it takes it...you should be ok with 19's and the tanabes with running 30 series ...might rub a lil with 35's but i'm not sure on those. but i am on the 30's..

the front rub will be negligible depending on what offset your wheels are, but the reaer may rub and the trailing arm. the solution, in the front you may need to cut a 1x1 in square into the fender lining, and the rear can be fixed with a simple 3 or 5 mil spacer, either of which will be fine with the stock studs

brent

pm me if you have any further questions, wheels are my life, its how i pay the bills

I'm running 19's with Goldlines (2" drop) and have no rubbing issues at all.
