Default Echo front struts and bumpstops

Im lowered right now on s techs (2006 xB) with 215 35 18 tires and will be installing the echo front struts for the extra 1/2" drop up front

My question is do i need to cut the bumpstops at all when using the echo struts?

I am running df210's with the Echo struts. I cut mine in half when I installed the struts.

does the cutting just allow the suspension to travel farther? and would it be bad if i left them the way they are?

You get a little more suspension travel. On certain bumps you might bounceoff the bumpstop. Just cut them. I think even in the instructions it tells you to trim the bumpstop.
