Default 5 lug conversion

anyone here thought about or looked into a 5 lug conversion for the xb/xa?
i search around on the forum, but the query set on the search is not very accurate.

if so can you share with me your findings.

reson for 5 lug. better wheel/ofset selection. especially if it is upgraded to a 5x114.3

the front rotors are probably hubcentric so we can always use redrilled rotors to the 5 lug configuration. the rear drums might be a little more difficult. possibly a rotor/calipar 5 lug conversion???

I would not use adapters on a front wheel drive car, but if you're hell bent on riding 5 lugs, see if there is another toyota vehicle with the pattern you want and see if it could be retrofit. I do not think it is a good idea though...

With the aftermarket stuff we can get nowadays, I highly doubt there's a shortage of wheel products for 4 lug cars...

i looked into it for a bit, but the price of 300 per axle for the proper adapter plates (vs. hub change) was a bit high, so i stopped looking

i agree there are no shortages of wheels in a 4x100 offset, but how many of them are low offset wheels? staggered??

just for that particular reason i am looking into getting made to order wheels. imho finding low offset wheels in 4x100 is like finding a diamond in the rough.

I've been browsing around here and there and Noblesse actually makes a 4-to-5 lug conversion. this is how they're able to fit ultra wide and decently sized wheels on their bB's. not sure on the cost though.

Very true...almost all low offset 4x100 wheels have to be custom made...like HRE's or Work, or I-Forged wheels...which cost an arm and a leg!
