tC: 08 2AZ-FE Cylinder Head
I originally thought my head may have been cracked causing a coolant leak, however it turned out to simply be a blown head gasket. The head surface looks perfect however it has not been checked and MAY need to be decked (fairly inexpensive at a machine shop).
It is currently dissassembled with the valvetrain removed. Several valve seals were in bad shape causing some oil burnoff at idle - Id recommend replacing them all as its fairly easy and all the seals are about $18. The far right lower exhaust manifold stud hole is also stripped and needs to either be rethreaded for a larger stud, or helicoiled.
The price I have listed is for it in this condition, completely dissassembled. Im willing to have it checked by a machine shop, put it back together along with new valve seals, helicoil the stripped bolt hole, and have it decked if need be for $75 + the cost to have it decked.
Im asking $160+shipping for the head in the condition its in which is a steal if youre planning on using to build a head anyways. It comes complete with cams and buckets. The last time I checked, all valves were within clearance. If you do wish for me to rebuild it, you will need to pay the $160 up front, than 75+machining costs+shipping once its ready to ship out. I really dont have alot of free time, and this avoids me spending hours putting the head together only to have someone flake out.
Ill post pics tonight, feel free to pm me with any questions.
