Default QTP oval electric cutout

Brand new in box, never touched. QTP oval electric cutout. This is great for the turbo guys out there.

This is the low profile version and will fit pipping anywhere from 2.25" to 3".

This retails for $185+ shipping. You know you wanted it anyway, so why not save a few bucks while your at it

If this was round and not oval I would grab this up in a second. Free bump.

Out of curiosity why do you prefer round?

Just a preference. My exhaust is round. So I want a round cutout. I'm buying one from qtp today.

Oh ok, reason why they make the oval ones is because you need much less clearance and it doesn't stick out as much as the round one. Thats the main reason i got the oval one, this was going on my downpipe and the round one was too tight of a fit.

Yea. I hear ya. I wanted to put one on my downpipe but kind of nervous of having my turbo downpipe cut into.

Oh ok. I'm going go over to my custom fab guy and ask what he thinks and I might possibly make you an offer depending on his opinion.

Cool, i believe the are of the round vs the oval is the same, so flow should be the same.

Talked to my fab guy and he said oval piping is super pricey. What length is the piping?

What are you trying to do exactly? the oval piece that comes with the cutout is 6" long, that should be long enough for putting the cutout in most places, unless your thinking of total rerouting the cutout.

Mount it to the s-pipe and have it facing the ground.

The 6" piece that comes with the cutout should be plenty then. On most installs i have seen they don't even use the whole 6" and usually end up cutting down the included pipping.

On his last install of a cutout on a TC he said he had to use 5 inch of extra piping to make it face straight to the ground.

I guess that depends on where exactly on the spine you want to put the cutout. Either way you have 6" of pipe to work with. On a side note, I thought most people aimed their cutouts to the side because if aimed straight down the sound bounces off the ground and gets loud inside the car, fyi they also sell a turn down hood for the cutout on the qtp website
