Tanabe bump stops
I've just got my springs today, DF210. Did you guys get a G-Tech bump stops in the box? I was reading the manual and it was talking about a G-Tech bump stop, but I can't find it any where.....or does an Xa not need one?
only if applicable. just cut your stock bump stops on the first notch and that should do it...installed mine on an xb and the ride is just like stock but it look ooooh sooo good. dropped a lil bit over 2 inches.
what springs you got?
Mine, and most Tanabes I know, dont ride like stock. They ride stiff as hell. But yes I got bump stops for my xB, and put them in. I dont know if they did anything, but theyre on. Im not gonna be overloading the car or anything, so i feel i wont notice anything.
me too thats what im asking. i want a softer ride
i know aftermarkets are supposed to have a diff. spring rate, but sometimes its almost too bumpy. i wouldnt mind having the tanabe drop and a smooth ride.

My NF210's came with the G-Tech bump stops...
The spec sheet that came in the box also tells you to cut 10mm off the top. It's written in Japanese so I actually called Tanabe in Japan to confirm. They put someone on the phone who spoke English and he did in fact confirm that for the US Spec xB, we should use the included bump stops and cut 10mm off the top...
That's exactly what I did, and the car rides great!
Hope that helps...

Ones we have put on and shop car has df210's and they are white, None have come with bumpstops, you just cut the stock one at the first notch from the top. Mine rides great, and the others we have installed say the ride is better than stock.
Will cutting the bump stops make the car sit a little lower? I had a shop install the springs for me and I don't know if they cut them or not. I still have the stock 15's on and I see some people with the df210's sitting the same height as mine with 17's...just wondering if it was because of the bump stops.
