Default Are Axis wheels clear coated?

I'm wanting to buff/polish or wet sand these abrasion in my wheels, but want to find the right solution.

I've tried using those polishing agents...but they only help so much. Alot of the scratches look like they can be buffed out by wet sanding the clear coat...but don't wanna try anything funny just yet...

Want to see if doing this might help remedy the problem or worsen it.

Thanks!

Hey Brent...

Whether you belive me or not...I was going too...but I know your schedule with school is heavy. I hadn't heard back from you about the VerOnes...so I just let it go...I knew you needed some R and R.

So I just posted a quickieto get some bits...and as usually, your my heroe

After spending roughly 4hrs with a close friend, we managed to wet sand and get out a majority of the scuffs and scratches...and went back through and used some cutting agents to get it back to a nice clear finish...then we went of and wax the wheels.

So all in all...they are back to nice condition. But theres a major clearcoat problem on the passenger rear...the clear was already peeling/chipping off in 2 different places...I'll have to call on Monday and find out want its going to cost to re-clear.

I was thinking about calling Axis about the problem and seeing if they could help...dunno know yet...

Sorry again...next time I'll just avoid all this hassle and go straight to the source! hahah...

Will you forgive me?
