...after much deliberation. Then I was looking on this forum at previous posts about these and popular opinion seems to vary wildly. Too firm, softer than stock, fine with stock struts, ruin stock struts, scrape/don't scrape etc. I wanted a nice stance without going crazy low (wife drives it too) and wanted firmer handling and hopefully smoother ride. Did i make the right choice? Would Goldlines have been better?
Tien S Techs along with RSR Down springs are the perfect choice imo for a good drop around 1.5-1.7.
After that it's either goldlines or tanabes for 2.0-2.2.
So all in all, you made a good choice :D

I just ordered all the good's for my girlfriends new xA...
For the suspension of course... TEIN S-Tech...
From my experience with the S-Techs on all the differnt cars I have put them on (Im a TEIN Dealer) the S-Tech's are made with:
Shorter spring stroke then stock (less body roll & lean)
Stronger spring rates (not a huge amount stiffer but just enough)
Better ballanced for the cars weight distribution (cars that are lighter in the rear have more spring stroke on the rear spring and less of a spring rate increase compared to the front compensate for the lower weight, helping eliminate bounce on freeways etc...)
One of the things I have noticed about the xA with the 30 miles we have put on it so far is the stock suspension bounce... The rear springs are too stiff with linier feel for this car... Especially for someone who wants to drive comforatably and not tear up the corners...
Of course will give my review when I put the S-Tech's on... But it looks like I will have the rims and tires ready to go at the same time as the spring install... And that changes things too.......

Not sure if ptuning.com is doing the sale again on S-Tech's.
There's plenty of site's people provide here that may have the discount.
I ordered mine from a shop here in Orlando. Big mistake.

Ive heard that TEIN S-tech's will not blow out the stock struts and shocks...is this True. I was highly considering them. And now that ive heard this Im definately going to go with TEIN seeing as its going to cost me less money.
