looks good. I have a set on order. How much did it actually lower your xb? They claim right about 1.5, but if you have a better idea I would appreciate it. Oh yeah, how is the ride compared to stock? any smoother?

I will have to take another measurement. I took measurements right after install and it was 1" (now they are supposed to settle some) And my wheel/tire combo is actually taller than stock, so I'll loose some there.

They make the wheel well opening very even all around the tire, and that is what I was hopeing for. The ride is a bit better than stock with the progressive wind of the Hotchkis springs. I like it.

I have some on order as well. I think its a good "practical" drop. Not to low to scape the roadkill, but nice even opening around the tire.

Slight rubbing at full lock, but not bad. I like having a little extra tire.

 

Yeah, I have 225/40/18's as well, and the rubbing is like you described, but my car is on stock springs. I was afraid if I lower it, then the rubbing will get worse! Was that the case with you? Did it rub before the springs too?? Did it change at all, or does it only rub now, after the springs?

Rubbed before, rubs after, not really any worse. I'm not too worried about it, I keep an eye on it, and check closely when the wheels are off just to be sure.

I don't understand I have the 18" enkei's and hotchkis and they don't rub.
