just get the hub caps and buy some aftermarket 15's and have them mounted on your stock tires, there cheaper and they look better. Ive 15 inch konig holes for 500 mounted and everything

If you can avoid financing factory wheels, do it. Get the free set of steelies, keep them for emergencies, and go buy yourself the wheels you want. If there is a particular stock set of wheels you want, do a WTB in the classifieds here on SL. Usually they go for 1/2 of what scion gets for them.

Those wheels look like crap. I don't know why they would offer nice looking 'TRD' (Racing Hart) wheels, discontinue them, and then offer the garbage that they sell with Scions now. Not to mention they are a total rip off.

The 7 spoke alloys came on my car. I actually like them. I will eventually get rims but I'm not in a rush. those hubbies are wack tho.

I knew I was going to buy aftermarket when I got the car, but didn't know when, so I got the alloys. I can't stand hubcaps.

alloys arent worth it. the aftermarket is much cheaper than you think.

hi. i'm a new user here, xb owner since septermber. i got a set of alloys from the dealer, but they arent the ones you normally get. they've got six wide, sorta triangular spokes. i'll get a picture up sometime soon. anyone else seen these? the dealer said they were from one of the auto show display cars. do you guys think theres any truth to this?

If the dealer said it, it probably isn't true...

I got'em and I like'em.

At some point I'm going to add larger tires and rims, but only fear that when the winter weather come's 'round NYC again it will be all show and no go in ice and snow.

I don't think the 15", 7-spoke alloys look thaaaaaaat bad.....geez. At about $165 per wheel, I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives in the aftermarket. However, some might think it's just a little more convenient to upgrade the look of their xB without having to deal with the hassle of paying for them in cash after the purchase, getting the tires put on them and then remounting the wheels to the car.

It sound like there is a lot of animosity, or lack of trust, towards dealers here.....I hope all of you had good purchase experiences. If not, you need to let Scion know about it!
