Default Strut compatibility?

I know this question has been asked before, but I'm strapped for time and can't browse the whole forum... Did anyone figure out for sure if Echo struts could work on an xA?

people have posted saying they have done it without mods... I don't think the brand matters either (in terms of fitment)... but you might want to double check...

searching takes about two seconds...
search for koni, KYB, or tokico and limit it to this forum or xb/xa posts only and you'll find the answer pretty quick

I forgot which brand of shocks, but itzjere installed some echo struts/shocks on his xA. . . there were some fittiment issues, but he somehow managed to get it to work. Try PMing him.

they were koni yellows, and he was the one i was thinking of too.

and the fitment issue he had was trying to install it in the dark:
"That was my thread. I installed Koni Adjustables on my xA. Turns out we were just stupid and it was late so hard to see in the dark and we THOUGHT the diameter of the upper strut mount wasn't big enough, but it was."

Since then he's stated many times, they fit perfectly

Yea, way to be at the meets Sid, cause if you were, you'd know that my Koni's own. Haha..

But yea, Echo application shocks will fit in the xA with no modification at all. Perfect fits.
