Default 100 spoke knock offs

I found these while searching and was wondering if you purchase a wheel like this do think the quality would be poor enough that there would be a problem with the spokes falling out / breaking?

15x7's were listed for 95.00 a pop

Default Wires

Wires require more regular maintenance to keep in balance & for spokes. I've got a BOB xB & I was considering 18" x 7" w/ 43 mm backspace rims w/ gold spokes & a chorme rim, but decided I want as my car as service free as possible. The ones I was looking at were $595 each.

Maybe the picture is off or something, but looking at it, I get the sense that these are just spoked covers that go on the outside of the wheel. There's no lug holes showing and I can't believe they'd be "knockoffs" in the one lug kind but more likely "knockoffs" as in the "looks like" kind for that price...

If they are just a spoked covers, then spoke tightening and maintenance may not be an issue...

If they aren't daytons, they are worth nothing unless you don't mind looking cheap. They will be cheaply made and it will cost you more in maitenence than the wheels are worth.
Just my opinion but Daytons are the only spokes worth buying, and you won't get them for 95.00 a wheel.

Yea, initially I thought they looked kinda cool, but I don't think I am down with the maintenance that goes with em. I am just looking for something cheap I can toss on the stock rubber for the winter. I can't stand riding on stock hubs.

blue05xB said he painted his stealies alluminum, I was thinking of maybe trying this out. Anyone else attempt this?

I'm feelin' 'em. Remind me of a MG i knew when i was a kid.
Wheels didn't take all that much maintenance, just a look see at a motorbike shop once a year...
but a royal pain to polish all them spokes!!
