Default First Ticket..

For speeding I was doing 75 in a 70 but the stupid Texas State Trooper wrote me down for 85 in a 70
think it was because they are dicks and my car is one of the RS1.0 Absolutely Red color cars.

My first ticket was in my old 97 Eclipse. one of my white headlight bulbs burned out so I put in "JDM" yellow ones.

Had them in for 5 hrs before I got stopped 2 blocks away from my house. Most expensive bulbs I ever bought.

What a dick for writing you a ticket for breaking the law. Sounds like you'll be getting plenty more.

absolute red, also known as probable cause red.

if he says he clocked you doing 85, and you know you were only doing 75, you should have asked to see his radar gun, he has to show you if you do.

Is that true? Isn't that one of those internet rumors? I'm pretty sure it is a hazard for cops to be bringing someone they just pulled over to their car without putting them in handcuffs first. And technically, they don't even have to have you on radar. They can write you a speeding ticket without ever turning their gun on.

doesn't the radar gun take like a pic showing how fast you where going at the moment to show as proof if you went down to court to fight for it, i remember seeing that somewhere but don't know if all have it.

well usually cops don't pull u over for doing 5 mph or less over the speed limit since how i was moving with the flow of traffic. and getting a traffic lawyer would probably cost more then the tickets worth, since its my first im going to go take that defensive driving course to put the ticket on probation for a year and get those points off my license.,

How did he get your speed? It should be filled in on the ticket, assuming whatever state you live in is similar to IL.

Not literally, but the RS1 does have a bright red look to me!! Color. My tC is nice and stealthy.

My friend does this crazy lie with cops when hes cought speeding lol. He keeps a hose and a hot glue gun in his trunk so if the cops catch him speeding he says he has a water bed in his house and it sprung a leak and he just got the hose to hurry up and take out the water before it floods the house and the hot glue gun to seal the hole. He says it works but either way its funny lol.

The first ticket is always the worst. I've had many vehicle code violations, but still only one traffic ticket. That was my first one, when I was 17. I was doing 85 in a 60 and the cop told me I could my license over something like that, but he also told me I had a nice shirt and that his son goes to the same school as me, so he changed my ticket to say 70 in a 60. Sweet. I've cut back on my speed a bit since then, and I haven't had another speeding ticket since.

wait wait wait, you are saying the usual routine is to be asked to step out of your car? and he takes you back to his patrol car? And he asked you step out when you were only going 5 over? something seems odd...
